Full Crew Credits

Time isn’t our friend with post production heavily underway.  But please note we will be adding additional crew profiles whenever possible.  Every single member of our crew is massively appreciated.  And the one studios crew knows how very important it is to be given your proper credit for the work you’ve done.  This industry is a rough one.  No one will be overlooked!

Below is the full credits list of the awesome people that have aided Fight 4 Your Life’s journey thus far, either for the current feature length version, the original short film version, or as magnificent crew for both.  We, of course, want you to keep diving into this site.  But it’s good to know you can always check out our crew, cast and other credits on the official IMDb page of Fight 4 Your Life as well.  We are very diligent in making sure the IMDb page is kept up to date, as it is an important industry tool and standard.

Bryan Bachar – creator / director / producer

Bryan wants nothing more than to make Fight 4 Your Life something worthy of everyone’s time and efforts.  He believes it can be a film that people from all walks of life can appreciate, whether due to its fun, action-based structure, its more philosophical side, its dramatic, hero’s struggle storyline, or even because of its athletic competition mindset.  Character relationships play a big part of F4YL too, hopefully allowing viewers to see deeper into the souls of the characters and better relate to them.  Heck, there are even some pretty crazy fantasy elements mixed in there for the fan boy types!  Fight 4 Your Life has a little something for everyone.

Bryan works as owner and chief creative media producer / director of one studios, the home-grown production company putting F4YL together.  No matter if a piece of the puzzle or harnessing entire projects, one studios aims to bring a single vision to life.  B pushes himself to rep this aspect of one studios, always.  Whatever he can do to help, he’s your guy!

Over the years Bryan has worked in many different areas of production to earn and expand upon his skill sets, including film, television, industrial, corporate, academic, performance, athletics, music and more.  His experience has allowed him to become an all-arounder in digital film and media production.  That flexibility brings a variety of jobs his way.  One day he might work as a director of photography and camera operator.  The next day he may work as a sound recordist, D.I.T or media manager.  And boy has he spent many hours behind a desk editing!  But B definitely considers directing to be his area of focus.  It’s been his goal from the start to know enough about the many aspects of production to be able to lead a team with legitimate understanding of their work.

In addition to pounding the pavement for partners / clients that directly hire one studios, Bryan also often serves as a contractor for fellow production companies, which continues to allow him to regularly meet new crew members, talent and just plain awesome people.  His contract work has taken him to far off destinations.  And many of the relationships he’s made have lead to people coming aboard and/or supporting Fight 4 Your Life in some fashion.  This project has benefited greatly from the professionalism such folks bring to the table.

B has been creating short films and working on other artists’ film productions for over two decades.  Fight 4 Your Life is the culmination of his experience and knowledge to this point in his career, representing his first full length feature that he has taken on for himself and one studios…..a huge step in the dream!  Day by day he continues to form one studios into the film production house that he envisioned way back in the early 2000’s.

Out of college he spent some time down in LA working for ABC Family and then decided to make the track back up to NorCal to play his hand his own way…..a decision that allowed him to meet his wife, who eventually got him to relocate from the Sacramento area to the Bay Area, where he now resides with her, their little man and, of course, their best boy, Teddy.

Forever appreciative of the fine people who continue to help make this project happen, Bryan is well aware of the responsibility he has to get this film done.  Despite the many struggles along the lengthy journey, he’s lived this project for the better part of a decade.  His ambition to tell a story of such scope with limited resources could be viewed as flawed.  It’s definitely a bit crazy!  But the community behind Fight 4 Your Life shows what dedication and teamwork can achieve.

“I just want to take a moment to full-heartedly thank everyone involved in Fight 4 Your Life.  This film could not happen without the team’s effort.  It’s a community collaboration.  Because of each and every one of you, what was once simply words on paper is now becoming a viewable piece of art, able to be appreciated and connected to by countless minds to come.  It’s our little mark for the books.  And it’s only the beginning for full length features to come from one studios!  Thank you.  Your hard work and dedication will pay off.  And know that once you’re part of the one studios Family you’re always part of the one studios Family.  Now let’s keep making the magic happen.  Believe it.  Do it.”

B continues to dedicate himself to making sure every ounce of time, work and funding that has went into Fight 4 Your Life is well rewarded to all involved in the process.  How?  First by finishing the movie, of course.  And then by getting it out into the world.  After such a long road, it’s understandable that the end game of this project is often questioned.  But Bryan is an open book and welcomes inquiries with answers.  Feel free to ask.

Expect more films and other projects out of one studios in the coming year, all directed and produced by B.  These films are currently in post production and will be a great way for you to touch base with one studios while you wait ever so patiently for Fight 4 Your Life’s completion.  For more on Bryan, check out his website at www.BryanBachar.com, which is long overdue for an update.  He’s pushing himself to get that done and get back on posting updates and such regularly.  You can also follow him and connect to him on his various social media outlets, such as Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, Behance, LinkedIn, MySpace, YouTube, SoundCloud, Tumblr, Ustream, HitRECord and Instagram……yes, he’s actually on all these.  🙂  And he invites you to touch base with him!

Of course, you can also reach B via www.onestudios.net, which is slated for a huge update very soon.  Be on the lookout!  If you would like to book B for a collaborative project or discuss such with him, please contact him HERE.  If your project is more of an all inclusive production effort meant for a production company to completely take hold of, please contact B with one studios HERE.

Alonzo Chism – producer / line producer

Branden Alonzo Chism was born in Yuba City, California, in the summer of 1987.  After a few years his family would relocate to Fairfield, California, where he would spend the majority of his adolescence.

During his years spent at Fairfield High School, Alonzo joined the J.R.O.T.C program, where he adopted leadership skills, and the urge to push himself and peers.  The experience from J.R.O.T.C crossed over to a large organization, by the name of the Shriners, becoming captain of the color guard team.  This team as a whole represented the State of California, traveling to Philadelphia, Atlanta and New Orleans.  Alonzo and his team won first place in every competition, as well leading the parade in every city visited.

Graduating from Fairfield High School in 2005, he would apply to FIDM, the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, and be accepted. Unfortunately, he soon came to the understanding that he could not afford to educate himself in fashion, which had become a passion of his over the years.  Alonzo would move to Germany in the following months, to stay with his mother whom was now married to an officer in the military.  A year was spent saving and planning his way back to the states, back to California.  He would relocate 45 minutes away from his hometown, to Sacramento, California.

Meeting new people and friends, he decided to get into music, where he began producing hip-hop tracks.  Over time, photography and music has coexisted for him.  He has had the opportunity to work with artists such as Big Rich, Mistah Fab and Krumbsnatcha of the group Gangstarr, for whom Alonzo produced his first music video, co-directing the video as well.  The song was produced by Italian music producer Gregory B, whom Alonzo has also worked with.  Deciding to put a hold on music, which he was successful at and talented in, Alonzo turned his sites back on finishing school.

The decision to finish his schooling led Alonzo to transition further into photography.  It also has allowed him to find new niches in video production and filmmaking.  From studio shoots, weddings, special events and more, he consistently provides quality photos.  And having completed his first promo video “Introducing TreSolid”, he looks forward to his next video project, which will be completed later this year.

Alonzo feels honored to have worked with director Bryan Bachar for productions such as The Sacramento International Film Festival and the 5×5 Festival in Hollywood.  These projects have led him to Fight 4 Your Life, which he is nothing but elated to be a part of.  His time spent with DP of F4YL, Jeremy Guinn, who also directed the short Close Your Eyes for the 2013 Sacramento International Film Festival, which Alonzo was also a team member of, is highly cherished too.    In the past two years he has worked on set along with others learning the basics and becoming a staple for both Bryan and Jeremy’s projects.

Chism, or AC, as he is called, looks forward to continuing his pursuit in photography, film and music.  Currently a student at American River College, AC will be graduating with his degree in Business and a certificate in Green Technology.  Once Fight 4 Your Life has wrapped, he is thrilled to begin production on his short horror film, Hood Damnation.

Always a man of his word, extremely dependable and the “T” in team player, Alonzo has become a vital part of the one studios crew.   His tenacity and passion are highly valued and appreciated.

Jeremy Guinn – director of photography

Jeremy Guinn, or “The Man”, has worked with one studios on various film and video productions for the last three years.  He is a valued member of the one studios crew.  His dedication to his craft is apparent, as he continually demonstrates his growing skill and knowledge through his constantly evolving work.  Always dependable to get the job done, Jeremy has nothing but a bright future ahead of him.  Bryan Bachar, director of Fight 4 Your Life and owner of one studios, is truly fortunate to have met Jeremy and holds their professional relationship close.

Jeremy serves as the prime Director of Photography for Fight 4 Your Life, having also served as a cameraman, among other duties, on the F4YL short in 2012.  He is ecstatic to be a key player in this ambitious project, recognizing its promise.

Currently, Jeremy attends college in Sacramento, where he studies film.  In addition to aiding one studios regularly as a cherished member of the one studios crew, Jeremy also owns and operates his own video production business called JTG Films.  He has directed music videos, as well as short films.  In fact, Jeremy and his team were awarded the top prize at this school’s annual film festival in 2012.  You can find more info on JTG Films HERE.

If Jeremy isn’t working, doing creative video or film projects or fixing up his newly purchased home in Rancho Cordova, CA, you will find him spending time with his friends and going on adventures whenever possible.  He’s made several big trips in his life, including a memorable voyage to Machu Picchu in Peru.  Check out pics of the trek on the website for JTG Films!

Brandon ‘Knowbody’ Greathouse – dance choreographer

Brandon Greathouse, or Knowbody, as he is known through his dance, music and other artistic outlets, is a man who sweats talent.  Having spent a lifetime pushing to perfect the control of his own body’s movement, and never stopping growth in such, he expresses the rhythms he naturally feels through his total being.  Whether by Hip-Hop dance, graphic design or music creation, Knowbody can’t help but give the world his beat-entranced gifts.

If there is one area Knowbody feels just as passionate about as music and dance, it is giving back/guiding youth.  Lucky for him, he has made a career out of teaching children and young adults of all ages in the ways of bodily movement, always pushing his students to give the world their all and never to shy away from the rhythm.  Truly, he has found a positive road for anyone to jump on and take a ride in order to reach new levels of self confidence, happiness, expression and personal worth.  What a way to bring people together….all while doing what he loves and keeping to who he is and what he believes!

Just a few of Knowbody’s other accolades include heading up the Sacramento Kings Breakerz, having led competitive teams to try out for MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew and having started several successful competition dance crews, including Huemen, Kool Krush Krew and the Academy of Thugs.  Without a doubt, you can find Mr. Greathouse at a dance battle near you.  He is well known for his fierce style and flare throughout the country’s Hip-Hop dance scenes.

Having served as the choreographer for Fight 4 Your Life‘s mysterious Ghost Crew and lead actor Brandon J. Woods, as well as having acted as the original Ghost Crew Leader in the F4YL short, which the feature stemmed from, Knowbody has been a huge part of this project from day one.  We know nobody 🙂 would have given the continued time and energy he has for F4YL and we are eternally grateful for his efforts and support.  It is the one studios crew’s greatest honor to have him aboard.  And we look forward to supporting his constantly evolving endeavors in the years to come!

Please check out Knowbody’s many social media sites for more info on him and his dance school, Greathouse of Dance.  You won’t be sorry!  Links are below.  But first, peep this awesome video starring Knowbody himself…

Cody Watson – production assistant / grip

Cody started his video and film adventures by volunteering on local productions and acquired the skills needed to be more useful on-set.  Now, he runs his very own production company called Interrobang Productions.

Interrobang Productions is Cody’s outlet for creativity and acts as a conduit for doing business.  He creates micro-budget video marketing material for use online, not broadcast.  Just some of the work he’s done include videos for artist bios, event promotions, corporate videos, online and social media marketing materials… You name it, he’ll do it.

Cody’s Jack-of-all-trades mindset was apparent when he first came on board as a production assistant to aid the one studios crew in making the Fight 4 Your Life short film in 2012.  He quickly went from serving as a P.A. to helping with sound, costuming, grip and even standing in as an actor for that project.  F4YL creator Bryan Bachar elaborates,

“I was amazed at how much Cody wanted to help.  It wasn’t like we were even asking him to do a lot of the stuff he was doing.  He just made it happen.  He has the drive you need in this industry.  I’m so happy he is making his dreams come true.”

Since the F4YL short, Cody has continually aided one studios in its projects whenever possible.  He’s a busy guy, but he’s committed to his craft and a loyal colleague.  We truly consider him part of the one studios Family and an honorary member of the one studios crew.  Thank you, Cody, for everything you do.  We look forward to what lays ahead with you, amigo!

Check Cody out on LinkedIn, IMDb, Facebook and YouTube!

Kevin Cogburn – assistant fight choreographer / stunts

What can we say about Kevin to not understate him and his talents?  Kevin is a rad dude….PERIOD!!!

Hailing from Shingle Springs, CA, Kevin Cogburn has always lived his life a bit on the edge.  Anything active and high octane that gets his adrenaline going tends to draw him in.  He has been an avid practitioner of martial arts, gymnastics, parkour, motorcycle riding and stunt performing for many years now.  It is from this background Kevin came upon Fight 4 Your Life, with the one studios crew being in need of a stunt performer and actor when first casting for the F4YL short film in March of 2012.

Kevin was looking to extend his stunt skill sets, build experience on camera and show the world what he could do.  It was a marriage made in the heavens, especially when we realized how cool of a dude he is.  And he’s been on board Fight 4 Your Life since.  In fact, Kevin continues to aid one studios whenever possible.  More than simply a colleague on call, we consider Kevin an honorary member of the one studios crew and we all look forward to good things ahead from him, whether by way of acting, stunt work or his musical ambitions….Kevin serves as lead singer in a local Sacramento area hard rock band.

In addition to contributing to the fight choreography of one of the big fight scenes in Fight 4 Your Life, Kevin also has lent us his acting abilities.  Look out for him on screen when Fight 4 Your Life comes to a theater, TV or computer monitor near you!  In the mean time, be a friend and like Kevin on Facebook!

Jonathan Calizar – fight choreographer / casting associate

Sixth Degree Black Belt KJN, Jonathan Calizar, has been training with Ernie Reyes’ West Coast Martial Arts since the age of four.  He has traveled nationally with the Ernie Reyes Demonstration Team.  He is experienced in Tae Kwon Do, Wu-shu, gymnastics and a variety of martial arts.

With thirteen years of teaching experience, Jonathan still follows his passion for instructing students.  Having moved to Folsom, CA in July of 2004, he proudly has honored the opportunity to teach the Martial Arts way.  One of his favorite quotes comes from Kwan Jang Nim Scott Coker,

“It’s not the teacher who teaches, it’s how the teacher teaches.”

Jonathan says,

“I’ve learned a lot in my brief lifespan, but what I will always remember are all the people who supported me.  Unfortunately, the list would never end!  So to everyone who supported me in the decisions I’ve made, I want to thank you for being there for me, and I will forever be indebted to you.”

Jonathan has served as a fight and stunt choreographer for Fight 4 Your Life, having met director Bryan Bachar through mutual colleague, and dear friend to B, Eliot Kelly.  B was amazed at the crazy acrobatics and high-flying kicks Jonathan could execute with precision.

“There was without a doubt Jonathan had to be a part of this film.  His abilities separate him from the pack.  He’s the kind of guy that you watch and say, yeah, he’s a professional.  Jon belongs in the movies.”  – Bryan Bachar aka B

And lucky for Bryan, Jonathan’s flare carries over into his attitude on camera as well.  A natural actor, he also plays one of the main villains in F4YL.  Working with lead Brandon J. Woods, a fight everyone is sure to remember was choreographed.

We thank Jonathan for his continued support and dedication to Fight 4 Your Life.  His energy and positive attitude has been addictive…and during the long shoots we need that!  Like a handful of F4YL‘s cast and crew members, Jonathan has been with this project since the very start, having also been in the F4YL short film in 2012.  This just shows the character of Mr. Calizar, as he is truly a loyal friend and a man of his word.  The one studios crew forever thanks you Jonathan.  We are in YOUR debt!

Check Jonathan out on the official El Dorado Hills West Coast Martial Arts site, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter!

Logan Williams – camera op / assistant camera / assistant director

Logan Williams is a filmmaker and writer from Sacramento, CA with a M.F.A. in film production from Loyola Marymount University in Southern California.  Logan’s passion for film making far exceeds simple words.  He has made it his career, his life.

“What is film to me?  Film is that which I cannot make real, seem real.  Altogether one might say that film overall is a lie, a compromise that states something.  In that statement then I want to find and reveal a truth that I would be otherwise unable to do in this thing we call life.”  – Logan Williams

Having gained immense experience while living in Los Angeles for close to a decade, Logan has worked on many film and video projects, many being his own short films.  He takes great pride in his film making, not sparing any details.

This has been apparent to Fight 4 Your Life creator, Bryan Bachar since first meeting Logan in 2011:

“I met Logan when we joined up to do a 48 Hour Film contest in Sacramento.  Over the duration of that weekend I saw his passion for film making and his eye for detail.  He is a story teller, something I hold great value for, as you need to be one in order to be a solid filmmaker.  Since that project I’ve been fortunate to witness Logan continue to grow into the artist I could tell he was then.  Sky’s the limit for this dude!”

Logan has regularly aided one studios on projects over the years, whether video based or films.  In fact, he came up from Southern California way back in 2012  to help shoot the short film version of Fight 4 Your Life, which started everything.  We wish nothing but the best for this honorary member of the one studios crew.  And we thank him for all his hard work and dedication.  Get ’em Logan!

Check Logan out on IMDb, Vimeo, LinkedIn and Facebook.  Here’s one of Logan’s films one studios aided him on!

Raymond Park – sound design / sound FX / background music

Raymond, or Ray, is currently working as a sound effects editor / sound designer for film and he’s in love with every minute of it.  He’s also a huge cinephile, with some of his favorite directors being Andrei Tarkovsky, Carl Theodor Dreyer, Park Chan-Wook, The Coen Brothers and Lars von Trier (the list could go on forever).

Ray says of his love of sound,

“I love sound, especially within the boundless realms of storytelling.  From the most unintelligible crackling gibberish to the smoothest of melodious murmurs, I love it all.”

So passionate about his audio is Ray that he moved down to Los Angeles to follow his love.  There he works for Monkeyland Audio, while he also pursues work as a freelancer for sound projects ranging from sound effects creation/editing to composing to sound recording and more.

Ray first came to one studios back in 2011 when he joined forces with us for a short film we did for a 48 Hour Film Festival in Sacramento, CA.  Since then he has aided one studios on various projects as an honorary member of the one studios crew, including serving as sound effects artist/foley artist for the short film version of Fight 4 Your Life in 2012.

We are ecstatic to have Ray on board for more of his awesome audio abilities.  Give him a cup of Joe and he’s ready to go!  Yep, his skills are quite sound….he he.

Anyway, be sure to check in on Ray via IMDb, LinkedIn, Vimeo, Facebook or EmptyKingdom.com.  Trust us, he’s quite entertaining and has excellent taste!
